Share Your Genius-
Students do a presentation representing a goddess or mythical figure they are inspired by.
Goddess Presentation
The students will create this class. It will consist of presentations from each student on a goddess not covered in this program.
Research the goddess that interests you. Bring her to life for the class- either through, a talk about her, a skit, poetry, dance, painting, puppet show, or art –painting, drawing, pottery, or something else that brings her qualities into focus.
Also find a craft or way to keep tangible reminders of the goddesses and lessons. Make one craft for each year. The first year symbolizes the maiden goddess. You may tie your craft into something your goddess is known for.
(Some ideas are- you might find a distinct bead for each goddess, and then make a bracelet or necklace out of them, a quilt with different patches for each goddess, a painting that brings in symbolism from each one, a poem or story that reflects them, a scrapbook, mandala or mosaic that brings their energy in. Think of what you will do early in the year. You will be asked to bring your project in for the last class, as part of your goddess presentation.
Each student will have 25 minutes to share both aspects of their project (Goddess and craft). If you work with someone else you will have fifty minutes. If the other person does not attend, you will need to present something on your own, or arrange for another presentation day.
Please arrange a little food, decorations etc. for our Term One Goddess Celebration.
In Sacred Circle
Students present their artistic creations, “as they are”, to share, inspire and get further insight.
