Chapter 12-The Lantern as Light-
Do not follow where the path may lead. Go, instead, where there is no path and leave a trail. ~Ralph Waldo Emerson
Trua enters the classroom and says, “You can make great changes in your life that involve creating an intention and living it out. When it comes to long-term enforcement of that change, it is very easy to slip back into old behaviours.”
Trua continues, “Boundaries are important to maintain your new behaviours and beliefs. Your family and friends will challenge you and even use blackmail by withholding affection or love. They often prefer you the “old” way and may subtly nudge you back to your bracelets. For example, your child might tell you, “I liked you better when you cleaned up after me, mom.”
Genie Lesson # 95
Make Boundary Your Favourite Word
Boundaries are a dirty word to some genies. But, yet, they are how you define and protect your privacy, space, assets and sense of self. We are all separate but can choose to merge. Mostly, genies need to feel good about having and setting boundaries and about respecting other people’s right to privacy. Boundaries are not about rejecting others or being rejected; they are about joyfully claiming your viewpoints, growth and attitudes. Boundaries create inner and outer spaces that allow you to be free, authentic and magical.

Know Which Flower Essences Help Enforce Boundaries
Sometimes self-sabotage happens because you don’t know how to live with a new perception of yourself. After the arduous job of weight loss, some women admit being uncomfortable with the attention that their new form elicits. Also, it requires ongoing lifestyle shifts to maintain changes, and it is natural to grow weary of the day-to-day maintenance.
If you do not protect your new identity and behaviours, old realities creep back, and you may end up disappointed. Some flower essences are helpful, as one way to guard boundaries. Create an intention and action steps for extra momentum. Boundaries are important because it is harder to maintain change than it is to create it initially. It is very disappointing to make progress and then lose momentum. Here are the main flower essences which may help reinforce your wish
Choose A Flower Essence to Enforce Your Boundaries
Yarrow, Flower Essence Society
This essence is valuable when one feels very vulnerable to others and the environment. Yarrow types are quickly depleted and tend to absorb other’s energy. Yarrow flower essence helps build inner radiance and strength.
Holly, Healing Herbs,
This essence is healing to emotions. Dr. Bach recommended Holly for when you feel jealous, cut off, suspicious or angry. Although many people try to repress or deny these emotions, they are natural reactions to daily life. Holly may help you be more compassionate and open to others. Holly is one of Dr. Bach’s most potent remedies, for any experiences of deep suffering.
Wolf Willow– Prairie Deva,
Wolf Willow is a fantastic boundary protector. It is useful for transitions like re-birthing or remaking of one’s life. When you bring new pieces of yourself, or new beliefs or behaviours into your life, they need protection. Wolf Willow flower essence helps establish and guard the boundaries around the new self, allowing the change to become permanent. You can make significant progress in your life that involves creating an intention and living it out.
When it comes to long-term enforcement of that transformation, it is very easy to slip back into old behaviours. Wolf Willow helps the new way of being to latch on. Usnea mushroom essence enhances Wolf Willow’s ability to create and strengthen boundaries.
